Abstract: Monitoring of the financial condition of agricultural enterprises is necessary for assessing
the effectiveness of state regulation of the economy and justifying the amount
of state support for the agricultural sector. The article presents the results of an analysis
of the financial condition of agricultural organizations in the Vologda region over
a five-year period. The comprehensive financial analysis showed a positive dynamics
of all groups of financial ratios, a significant improvement in the type of financial
situation in agriculture of the region. Since 2014, there has been an improvement in
the financial condition of the agricultural enterprises of the industry sector, which
was due to the influence of active state regulation of the food market in conditions of
sanctions and import substitution.
