Abstract: The paper is focused in the first part on the evaluation of the current situation of the transfer of innovation in agriculture extension in the Czech Republic, finding strengths and weaknesses in the counseling system. The second part of the paper addresses the question of what skills and knowledges the agricultural innovation brokers should manage and what methods could help to acquire this knowledge and skills. The results of the paper are part of international project “KA2 – Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices, Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training“.
