OCHRANA GENETICKÝCH ZDROJOV LIEČIVÝCH RASTLÍN PROTECTION OF GENEPOOL OF MEDICINAL PLANTS

Abstract
Research and other similiar activities aimed at the protection of plant genepool belong to primary and basic activities of the biological and agricultural research. The stuff of co-workwrs of the Department of Crop Production and those of the Botanical garden of Slovak Agricultural University in Nitra deals with genepool of medicinal plants within the submitted scientific and technical project (C 519/3) "Rescue and Protection of Endengared Plant Genepool in Slovakia". Primary goal of the subject stage "Medicinal Plants Genepool" is mapping, collecting, protection and conservation of threatened and others species. Objects of the research, collecting and ex situ collection are the folowing genus of medicinal plants: Anthemis, Agrimonia, Calendula, Echinacea, Hypericum, Hyssopus, Inula, Lamium, Leuzea, Mellisa, Mentha, Salvia, Stachys, Thymus etc.
